Magnus Henning

Magnus is a Senior Consultant at Groth & Co, specialising in disputes and litigation relating to trade marks, patents, designs, copyright, as well as media and marketing law. He has extensive experience in handling complex cases before both civil and administrative courts – including the Supreme Court and the Patent and Market Court of Appeal – and is recognised as one of the most experienced advisers in the intellectual property litigation field. Magnus also manages administrative disputes concerning domain names, including ATF (.se) and UDRP (.com and other domains).

Over the years, Magnus has successfully represented clients across a wide range of industries, including automotive and manufacturing, energy, food and confectionery, media, construction, and pharmaceuticals. His work is characterised by strategic thinking, commercial insight, and a deep understanding of both legal and business imperatives.

Magnus also has extensive experience in managing international IP portfolios, combining legal expertise with strategic advice on the maintenance and development of intellectual assets. His advisory approach is firmly rooted in the client’s business objectives – whether related to market entry, product launches, licensing, M&A, or cost control – translating legal considerations into practical decisions, priorities, and KPIs.
